How to get to the Jersey City Housing Authority, 400 U.S. Highway #1 (Marion Gardens), Jersey City, New Jersey from:

Take Exit 15E – Newark/Jersey City. After toll, follow signs for Jersey City, Route 1&9 North Truck Route – Bayonne/Jersey City (middle exit). Take this for approximately 2 miles. After second drawbridge, bear left to Route 1&9 North/North Bergen. At traffic light, stay to the left and make a left at the light (this is Route 1&9). Go two traffic lights and make right onto Sip Avenue. * Turn north onto Freeman Avenue (car wash on corner). Go to end, make left and go through double gates. Bear left and go around to highway side where Administrative Offices are located.

John F. Kennedy (JFK) Boulevard

Take JFK Boulevard to Sip Avenue. If driving northbound, make a left. If driving southbound, make a right. Take Sip Avenue for approximately ½ mile. Follow directions from * above.

Take 1&9 North until you see the split for Truck Route/North Bergen. Stay to the right of the split (bearing left will take you to the Pulaski Skyway which you can also take – see below for directions). Take this for approximately 2 miles. After second drawbridge, bear left to Route 1&9 North/North Bergen. At traffic light, stay to the left and make a left at the light (this is Route 1&9). Go two traffic lights and make right onto Sip Avenue. Follow directions from * above.

Take 1&9 South until you come to the Tonnelle (Charlotte) Circle. Take the circle halfway around and take 3^rd right. This is Tonnelle Avenue. Take this straight to John F. Kennedy Boulevard. Make a right onto JFK Boulevard. Make first right onto Sip Avenue. Take Sip Avenue for approximately ½ mile. Follow directions from * above.

After exiting the Holland Tunnel, go through 2 lights, bear to the left towards Routes 1&9. The road will split again, the left lane going into an underground highway and the right lane being the aboveground highway (Observer Highway). Stay to the right to the aboveground highway. Go 2 lights and make a left onto John F. Kennedy Boulevard. Follow this for approximately one mile. Make first right onto Sip Avenue. Take Sip Avenue for approximately ½ mile. Follow directions from * above.

Follow Pulaski Skyway and take the Broadway exit (it will be on your left). Bear right at the bottom of the ramp and make a right at the light. This is Route 1&9 South. Get into the left lane immediately and make a left at the first light onto Sip Avenue. Follow directions from * above.
