Housing authority of the city of Jersey City PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Distribution and Discussion OF AGENCY PLAN
Please note: The Draft Five Year Strategic and Annual Operating Agency Plan will be distributed and available for Public Review and comment beginning Friday, October 3, 2008 until Monday, November 17, 2008. The Public may view the Agency Plan at the JCHA Main Office located at 400 U.S. Highway #1 (Marion Gardens), Jersey City, NJ, at the Manager’s Office of any JCHA Development, or on the JCHA website at www.jcha.us. public hearing
the quality housing and work responsibility act of 1998 requires that all local housing authorities develop and adopt a five year strategic and annual operating agency plan.
pursuant to the regulations governing pha agency plans, and in consultation with the jcha resident advisory board, and the city of jersey city, the jcha has developed an agency plan. the jcha will conduct a public hearing about the “jcha agency plan” on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 5:00 pm. the meeting will be held at the JCHA’s Central Office located at 400 U.S. Highway #1 (marion Gardens), jersey city, nj.
the public is welcome to attend the public hearing. comments received about the jcha’s agency plan will be taken into account as part of the jcha’s consulative process. the jcha board of commissioners intends to adopt the jcha agency plan at the january 7, 2009 board of commissioners meeting.
The Agency Plan must be available for public review and comment beginning Friday, October 3rd, 2008 at the Main Office, on the JCHA website and at each Manager’s Office. Therefore, please print the attached copy and have it available should someone request to review and comment.
